The main building at Kashana Lodge was built in 1907 during the German colonial rule as a casino for mine workers, and was restored and reopened in 2007 as the Kashana Country House. Kashana Lodge is located in Omaruru, Namibia, and offers luxurious, comfortable thatched bungalows, restaurant, bar and an Arts & Craft Centre.

Activities include day trips to the famous rock paintings and the living museum of San people in the Erongo area, Damara villages, and the Waterberg, as well as safaris into Etosha National Park..
